I use Nexus Notes as skeletons for my own notes. This method is far easier than working off textbooks and really helps me with my law exams which aren't getting any easier.

I have used Nexus Notes since the site launched and I’m now achieving way more Ds and HDs instead of Ps.

About these notes

I learn best is by writing. I always write down things to figure them out. Then I can go back and reread it to lock it in my memory. My notes help me organize the details of the structures and be able to answer any questions about those ideas. My notes are organized, accurate and taken during class. Then after class, I refer to the textbook to help me fully understand the concepts and then I can update and organize my notes. There are some concepts that are highlighted that I thought would show up on the test that I struggled with. This way when I go through my notes I can pay extra attention to them. There are illustrations throughout that help clarify ideas, processes or organs and their function and parts. They tremendously helped me understand the material. I like to draw pictures because then I will remember the picture and I can use that to put pieces together on the exam and remember the material. The layout of these notes makes them very easy to read because they are not just a long paper of notes there are headings and side notes and arrows for clarification so when I am going through them I am learning. The topics that are covered in these 16 pages are
-The Somatosensory System: the 5 senses
-The Endocrine System: pituitary gland and hypothalamus, types of hormones, regulation of hormones
-The Blood: functions, composition, disorders, erythrocytes and leukocytes, platelets
